Anita Barone

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was part of the cast in the show Carol & Company in early 1990s alongside actress Carol Burnett. Barone had played the role of Carol Willick Ross Geller's husband in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show in order to concentrate on full-time work. She played the role of The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season from 1995 to 1996 and The War at Home, between 2005 and 2007. In 2000 Barone played a part in the sitcom Daddio. The credits on her television show include Desperate Women, Curb Your Exuberance Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone received the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role as One Last Ride. Barone is a regular character of Shake It Up on Disney Channel and began airing the following year, three years after The War at Home had been completed. The role in which she is played by Officer Georgia Jones who is the mother of CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
