Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. Ladd went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent match in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her debut fight as a Bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill by TKO in the third round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at an "catchweight"(138.1lb), because Ladd did not make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 at ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
