Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films that are mostly of the horror or martial arts types. Her style and approach is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action movies that have a twisted fascination. She began reviewing movies in late 2009 after becoming popular on their forums. (Under her old username Obscurus Lupa), she was invited to be part of on the Channel Awesome team. She was on the website until early 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. In addition, she appeared in Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! and was often a guest on his series Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible film for children or RiffTrax live programs and occasionally an adult-oriented comedy (including obviously Baywatch (2017)). Her first review was in the latter part of 2009. She earned a great deal in popularity thanks to Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She has made numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She used to be a part in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also appear often on episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
